Dear valued shareholders and patrons:

The board of directors of RPA Farmers Co-op has begun studying the merits of consolidating operations with Mechanicsburg Farmers Grain Company and Culver-Fancy Prairie Cooperative Company.  The combined company would utilize 13 locations and have total licensed storage capacity of over 21 million bushels of grain to improve grain services and operating efficiencies for our member patrons.

In today's rapidly changing grain industry and the competitive climate we operate in, it is prudent to explore options which allow us to maintain and enhance our services to members while making the most of all resources available to all three cooperatives.

Your board of directors takes its responsibility seriously and appreciates your support.  We'll keep you informed of our progress.  If you have any questions, please contact our General Manager, Tom Harms at 217-626-1331, or any member of our Board of Directors.

Sincerely,

Gerald Mahoney, President

RPA Farmers Co-op
